Welcome to our office. We are a local, family owned small business, focused on providing quality care and education to all our patients. We understand each person has a different approach to their oral health at any given time, sometimes to maintain, sometimes to enhance, usually to treat. That's why we discuss priorities with patients and make a treatment plan, from conservative to knowing all your options, we will present them to you as suited to you. Dentistry is a very interesting profession that has well suited me. Solving the problems of pain, dental anxiety, TMJ, implants, or the airway and helping my patients (and colleagues) brings a lot of happiness and fulfillment to me.
Dr Kannan Komandur (Dr K or just Kannan) Graduated Dental School in 1998 (India) as valedictorian and was licensed in CA in 2002.

He likes working with all aspects of dentistry, including root canals, extractions, etc., providing comprehensive care to the patient. He focuses on airway and breathing to help patients avoid dental and medical disorders. He helps with TMJ disorders by both prevention and dealing with acute pain and correction of disorders. Dr K has a special focus on functional orthodontics as a means to restore health both in children and adults. Following his implant residency, he has been involved in complicated implant reconstruction of patients with severe trauma and genetic disorders. A Naturopathic and Holistic general dental practitioner with knowledge of Ayurveda and Osteopathic principles, he encourages whole body wellness. He puts his certificate of orthodontics and fellowship in implant placement to good use, placing mini implants to do skeletal expansions etc. Dentistry is close to his heart and he enjoys patient care.

Archana Naidu, DDS, FAGD
Dr Naidu, received her license to practice dentistry in California in 2005 and most enjoys a day filled with a variety of procedures. Her focus is on gentle, kind and compassionate dental care. Always ready to help her patients (and friends) with their dental problems, her core beliefs are in prevention and conservation. She is a Fellow of the academy of general dentistry and has a certificate in orthodontics. She relishes patient interactions, be it discussing the health of their teeth and gums or proper growth of childrens’ jaws or appropriate diet. With Dr K and Dr Naidu, the office uses functional dentistry and osteopathy to maintain balance and health between the teeth and the TMJ.
Local Alamo residents Dr Naidu and Dr Komandur are actively involved in the community, volunteering at numerous activities and of course, the local boy and cub scouts. They believe strongly in a wholesome nurturing environment for growth. Their goal as dentists is to provide a stress free, comfortable atmosphere to achieve excellence in restoring and maintaining oral health. Together with their caring staff, they are here to help you achieve and maintain optimal health.

Kind, gentle and cheerful, Kristen will probably answer the phone when you call. Kristen has lived in the area more than 30 years and all 4 of her kids are SRVUSD alumni.
